FAQ’s – Bulk Water Purchasing

The following is a list of Frequently Asked Questions by companies interested in Bulk Water Purchasing.  If you have further questions, please contact the Authority at 412-931-3292 during normal business hours.

 

How do I set up an account?

You will need to complete our application and receive a vending card for our Bulk Water Machine.

 

What fees are associated with applying for a bulk water account?

There is a $10 fee for the application which includes one(1) Vending card. Additional cards can be purchased for $5.00 per card.

 

How do I access the water?

Instructions will be provided by the Authority when you sign up for a bulk water account.

 

What is the cost of the bulk water?

Please contact WVWA at 412-931-3292 for the current bulk water rates.

 

How will I be billed?

West View Water Authority will send an invoice monthly for water purchased.

 

What hours is the system operational?

The system is available 24hours/7days a week. We do restrict usage between 8:30am – 9am and 4:30pm-5pm Monday through Friday due to onsite water authority traffic.

 

Does West View Water have a supply hose?

No.  You are required to have your own 2” hose with a 2” Female Quick Connect Cam Lock Fitting.

 

Does West View Water supply containers for the water?

No.  You are responsible for providing a container to haul the water.
