West View Water Authority has established a schedule of tapping fees for connections to main water lines, the said tapping fees being in addition to the service line connection fees. The tapping fees will vary, based on many factors including the location of the main line, the connection to a main line installed by the Authority and/or other under reimbursement agreements, to main lines installed under assessment agreements and to other special conditions.

The following table is the West View Water Authority Act 57 of 2003 Tap Fee Calculations By Size of Meter. This schedule is used to determine the Tapping Fees for each instance. These fees are in effect as of June 21, 2018.

(1)This value applies to a 1″ service connection and 5/8″ or 3/4″ meter.
(2)Connection fee plus current fee for 1″ meter upgrade.
(3)Connection fee based upon actual construction costs plus engineering/overhead of 17%.
(4)Total cost by meter size will be estimated at the time of application and adjusted as necessary at the completion of the water service line installation.
